A socio-economic impact assessment not only forecasts impacts, but should also identify means to mitigate adverse impacts. Mitigation should include efforts to avoid an impact by not taking or modifying an action; minimizing, rectifying or reducing the impacts through the design or operation of the project or policy; or compensating for the impact by providing substitute facilities, resources or opportunities. 

The percentage of people responding to ‘Yes’, ‘No’, and ‘NC’ is given in the Figure.  It shows the share of the response in each category. The major findings of a survey conducted among the public of Ahmadi Township is discussed. If we see the graph the people have positive opinion for the seven (7) categories, except in the case of transportation, where the value of negative opinion is bit higher than the positive (Refer the report for complete details)
