Training courses outline:

The program for our Training Services is composed of training modules, workshops, computer and multi-media demonstrations and group activities like site visits etc.

Safe Handling Of Hazardous Chemicals

1

The Seminar is presented in a clear and schematic way in seven modules

Module 1: Hazard Communication
Module 2: Chemical Hazards and Reactions, & Proper Storage Guidelines
Module 3: Basic Toxicology
Module 4: Personal Protective Clothing & Equipment
Module 5: Respiratory Protection
Module 6: Decontamination
Module 7: Emergency Preparedness & First Aid

Office Safety Management

2

It is important that the office employees have the necessary tools and training to enable them to identify and eliminate or reduce the hazards they may face in the office in which they spend their working days . this includes potential ergonomic hazards which are more difficult to identify due to the sometimes , long term effects involved.

Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Using Latest Technologies

3

Industrial wastes (Liquid, Solid, and Gaseous) are considered as a big burden on the environmental ecosystems. In addition, the lack of technical treatments and recycling of these wastes is considering as daily violations of environment. There is a big increase in industrial wastes that arrives to the landfills without proper treatment, which increases the financial costs required for later treatments or rehabilitation. This course gives a detailed explanation about the most hazardous industrial wastes and how to deal with them and the methods used to recycle these wastes, which are considered of highly economical value.

HazMat & HazWaste Management

4

In Kuwait the need to properly educate and train our employees and provide them with a better understanding, on the proper ways to handle, label, store, dispose and transport
various Hazardous Materials & Hazardous Waste on Kuwait highways, and also what to do in the event of an accidental spill. Also chemical segregation and compatibility is very important .

Handling HAZMAT Accidents Involving Flammable Liquids

5

Flammable and combustible liquids are present in almost every workplace. Fuels and many common products like solvents, thinners, cleaners, adhesives, paints, waxes and polishes may be flammable or combustible liquids. Every one who works with these liquids must be aware of their hazards and how to work safely with them.

Handling HAZMAT Accidents Involving Poisonous Gases

6

This course is intended to provide emergency responders and employees with an overview of the skills and techniques typically used in responding to poisonous gas releases. In addition, it will teach those responders who have not
used these techniques in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities in the past how to use the "Emergency Response Book" ERG and will receive a hard copy as well as a CD

Introduction to Occupational Safety

7

This seminar provides the necessary knowledge for participants & and shed the light on:
Terms, concepts and principles of occupational Safety , Link between biological, chemical and physical parameters and occupational diseases, Roles and responsibilities of occupational health physicians and nurses, Methods of conducting occupational Safety survey, Components of an occupational Safety questionnaire and how to do an occupational health survey, The use of PPE in the work place & Managing occupational Safety issues in an industrial facility.

Industrial Waste Management

8

Industrial wastes (Liquid, Solid, and Gaseous) are considered as a big burden on the environmental ecosystems. In addition, the lack of technical treatments and recycling of these wastes is considering as daily violations of environment. There is a big increase in industrial wastes that arrives to the landfills without proper treatment, which increases the financial costs required for later treatments or rehabilitation. This course gives a detailed explanation about the most hazardous industrial wastes and how to deal with them and the methods used to recycle these wastes, which are considered of highly economical value.

Landfill Management & Rehabilitation

9

Historically, landfills were commonly located on the fringe of urban development in quarries, which are commonly used for the disposal of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The biodegradation of organic matter in the MSW landfills is associated with the gas that increases the void ratio and weakens the structural strength of the refuse within the landfill.

Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Remote Sensing Application

10

Integrated coastal zone management (ICZM) is a process for the management of the coast using an integrated approach including geographical and political boundaries, in an attempt to achieve sustainability. ICZM covers the full cycle of information collection, planning (in its broadest sense), decision-making, management and monitoring of implementation and seeks to balance environmental, economic, social, cultural and frrecreational objectives, all within the limits set by natural dynamics.

A remote sensing application is a software application that processes remote sensing data. Remote sensing applications are similar to graphics software, but they enable generating geographic information on satellite and airborne sensor data.
It performs: Change Detection to determine the changes from images taken at different times of the same area.

Asbestos Waste Awareness, Handling, Removal and Disposal

11

This course provides you with an overview & general knowledge and understanding regarding Asbestos, its health hazard, the procedures and the techniques to be followed for proper handling, removal and disposal.

Environmental Pollution, Health and Control

12

This training course is an important part of health science that introduce a verity of themes that focus on issues such as air pollution problems, causes, and effects with effective mitigating measures. It also concentrates on epidemiological fundamentals especially methods of study designs and questionnaire constructions. The course will show application methods
using statistical packages in addition generation and manipulation of data will be disused using pilot studies as example on application methods. The course will conclude by illustrating the importance and the process of implementing environmental impact assessment.

Laboratory Safety Training Program

12

The Seminar is presented in a clear and schematic way in seven modules:
Module 1: Introduction
Module 2: Chemical Hazard Communication
Module 3: Protection Engineering Controls Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Module 4: OSHA's Laboratory Standard
Module 5: Standard Methods of Prevention
Module 6: Other Aspects of Safety
Module 7: Emergencies

Environmental Legislations, Regulations and Enforcement

13

Legislations and regulations are the fundamentals for environmental rules that help in reducing the pollution and to save the environment with its various components. This training course will review these regulations specially the ones that serves the environmental issues in the state of Kuwait, it will also focus on how to build preventive rules so as to reduce the
pollution, actual examples on war crimes will be given and their direct and indirect effects on the environment will be explained, the course will also show how to calculate the compensation on environmental damages.

Environmental-Impact Assessment (EIA)

14

Environmental Impacts Assessment (EIA) is considered as one of the most important regulations for executing projects. It seeks as to clarify the relationship between executing projects and sustainable development, by decreasing negative impacts on the surrounding environment on the long run. EIA investigates all elements of projects before, during and after executing to set the foundations that ensure limited environmental damages, as well as drawing comprehensive plans to limit the unseen damages on the short run.

Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

15

The Seminar is presented in a clear and schematic way in three modules:
Module 1. Hazard Communication and MSDS
Module 2. Personal Protective Clothing & Equipment
Module 3. Respiratory Protection

Introduction to Occupational Health

16

Successful occupational health and safety practice requires the collaboration and participation of both employers and workers in health and safety programs, and involves the consid eration of issues relating to occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, toxicology, education, engineering safety, ergonomics, psychology, etc.

Our HSE training module includes the following courses:
